Our food and vital natural systems are experiencing recurring and increasingly significant shocks. Crop yields are crashing. Livestock, water, soils and wildlife are stressed. War and drought-related shipping disruptions continue. We are facing a Super El Niño , and the risk of floods is high. Further food price inflation is expected and there’s no sign of this stopping. 

All of this matters hugely for our resilience and long-term economic, food and national security.
